ADOPTED 2025-2026 CITY OF TROUP BUDGET
At its council meeting on Monday, September 8, 2025, at 6:30 pm, at the Cameron-J.Jarvis Troup Municipal Library the Troup City Council will review a CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE 2025-2026 City of Troup Budget.

NOTICE OF VOTE TO ADOPT BUDGET AND TAX RATE
The City of Troup will Vote on adopting the 2025-2025 Budget and approving the 2025-2026 Tax Rate at its City Council Meeting on Monday, September 15, 2025 at 6:30 pm, at the Cameron-J.Jarvis Troup Municipal Library.
This budget will raise more revenue from property taxes than last year's budget by an amount of $61,021, which is a 7.09 percent increase from last year's budget. The property tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year is $26,104.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The City of Troup will hold a public hearing on the proposed 2025-2026 City of Troup budget at 6:30 pm, Monday, September 8, 2025, at the Cameron-J.Jarvis Troup Municipal Library.
This budget will raise more revenue from property taxes than last year's budget by an amount of $61,021, which is a 7.09 percent increase from last year's budget. The property tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year is $26,104.

As required by law, at least 30 days before a public hearing, August 6, 2025, a Proposed Budget was filed with the City Secretary prior to the Public Hearing to be held at a Special Called City Council Meeting at 6:30 pm, Monday, September 8, 2025 at the Cameron-J.Jarvis Troup Municipal Library.
